In the world of Siraden, whenever a magic-user uses magic, their spells take on a particular color. For example, Avad’s color is blue and all the spells he casts are blue in color. The only exceptions to this effect is when a spell itself has a certain color (e.g., portals and shields are blue, ramming shields are red), or when a spell creates a particular “effect” (e.g., fire or ice), in which case the “effect” simply has its natural color(s).
Different kinds of magic have different colors associated with them. For example, white magic is commonly yellow; however, green and blue are also fairly common colors for white magic-users. Dark magic, on the other hand, is commonly black, gray, or brown; and, occasionally it can be red or green.
Mages are known to have the widest variety of magic colors. Their magic can be anything from yellow to purple.
